BUSINESS Model
IPSE has the following business model:
Intellectual Property Securities Corporation (IPSE) specializes in the securitization of Intellectual Property (IP) assets, offering an innovative, patented method and toolset that allows IP assets to be directly securitized, listed and traded on traditional securities markets through an Initial Intellectual Property Rights Offering (IIPRO).
In addition, IPSE also directly securitizes, lists, and trades Real-World Assets such as Real Estate and Carbon Credits on traditional securities markets through new market sectors.
Through Intellectual Property Rights Offerings (IPRO), IPSE enables IP holders to raise capital by offering direct securities tied to their assets, such as films, patents, and other creative works. This approach eliminates the need for third-party intermediaries, providing investors a straightforward way to invest in intellectual property.
IPSE’s business model includes offering various products and services, such as IP Securities, Movie Securities, Music Securities, and Merchandising.
First, IPSE charges a securitization fee that is usually a percentage of the asset value if the asset already exists or a percentage of the realization budget if it is a future asset.
Second, IPSE charges a fundraising commission of 8% on the amount raised to finance the existing or future asset.
Third, IPSE charges a 12% commission on the royalties generated by the securitized asset, if any. (A carbon credit, in example does not generate any royalties).
Led by Marc Deschenaux, an international financier and patent holder for Intellectual Property Direct Securitization, IPSE is pioneering this concept intending to redefine how IP assets are valued and traded.
